Country-pop and actor songwriter Jana Kramer rose to fame on television where she joined the team of One Tree Hill as Alex for its final three seasons. In the series' episodes, Jana Kramer was seen performing her first country album. The album bearing the same title was featured in the Billboard 200's top 20. Thirty One by 2015 was her follow-up album and climbed to Number Ten. Over the past decade, she appeared in Dancing with the Stars as well in TV movies and several TV shows. There were also some singles which weren't albums. The self-doubting Voices came out in 2021. Growing up within Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer grew up on country music and would eventually pursue a recording career but she started her career as an actor making her onscreen debut in the 2002 indie horror film Dead/Undead when she was still in her teens. Her appearances were in guest spots on All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights in the 2nd season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer was next seen on 90210 for the character of Portia Randson between 2008 and 2009, and also as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. She then joined the cast of One Tree Hill with the character Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the character until about midway through the final season of One Tree Hill. Kramer was a signer of an agreement to sign an agreement with Elektra Records, and she debuted her contemporary country love song I Won't Give up on the One Tree Hill 2011 episode. The song was released in 2012. the song was released via Jana Kramer - her first album. The song was featured on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart in the Top Five. After focusing on her career in music, Kramer continued to act and was in movies like Heart of the Country 2013 (which appealed to her fans) as well as Country Crush 2016 (which would be a hit with her music lovers). Kramer has released her second studio album, Thirty One in collaboration with Warner Music Nashville, in October 2015. It was a Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy, and The duet Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed with helped it to reach third place on the Billboard 200 and number 10 in the country chart albums. In September, she spent two months participating in season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, that ended in fourth-place finish. In the same year, she had a huge adult contemporary track with Straight No Chaser's Feels like Christmas.
